That's too bad - I remember car hop service when I was growing up, with cold glass mugs of root beer. Although, I think you only got the mugs with dine-in service, now that I think about it.

Back before Pepsi-co bought out A&W we had the drive up car services, Girls
A&W was really good back then.

LOL Yeah there is an A&W near me in Niagara Falls, NY. Their food
isn't as good as it used to be, but the root beer cream Freezes are
delicious :)
