Did you hear the news that Synchronet builds and runs on macOS now? :-)

Yes! One of these days I need to see if the dosemu2 ever got it to run properly on the Mac. I had helped them debug for a while, but it's a lot of work.

Someday I need to buy a Mac mini and move GoF over there. For the moment it's still running in a Linux virtualbox.

I haven't tried it recently, but no, for quite a long time it did not work on any Mac.

I opened a ticket on it in 2018, and helped for a while. It appears they've made a lot of progress since then, but it's still not finished:
